What do I need to bring?

For your infrared sauna session at Align Studios, all you need to bring is yourself! We provide towels, showers with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner for your convenience.

If you'd like to personalise your experience, feel free to bring:

  • Your favourite music or book to relax.
  • Extra ritual tools such as a dry brush, massage balls, face masks, skin care or hair treatments.

We also recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing after your session for easy dressing and to keep that post-sauna relaxation going.

Make it your own and enjoy the ultimate self-care experience!

How long should I stay in the sauna?

We recommend 30–45 minutes per session, but if you're new to infrared saunas, start with 20 minutes and gradually increase your time.

Each session is a total of 60 minutes, allowing up to 45 minutes in the sauna with an additional 15 minutes for showering and getting dressed before the next client arrives.

How you use that time is entirely up to you!

What are the electrolyte add-ons good for?

Can I use an Infrared Sauna while breastfeeding?

Yes, you can use an infrared sauna while breastfeeding, but with some precautions:

  • Stay Hydrated
    – Infrared saunas promote sweating, which can lead to dehydration.
    Drink plenty of water before, during, and after your session to maintain
    your milk supply. Electrolytes can also help. 
  • Limit Time & Temperature – Start with shorter sessions (30 minutes) at a lower temperature and see how your body responds.
  • Avoid Overheating – Excessive heat can affect your energy levels and hydration, which may impact milk production.
  • Pump or Feed Beforehand
    – Some mothers find it more comfortable to pump or nurse before their
    session to avoid discomfort from full breasts in the heat.

If you have any concerns, it’s always best to check with your healthcare provider before using an infrared sauna while breastfeeding.

Is Infrared Sauna safe during pregnancy?

No, infrared saunas are not recommended during pregnancy.
