That depends on the individual. 99% of our new clients do fine attending a Beginner Class.
Our Teachers offer beginner and intermediate options in all classes. Although still quite intense, classes are "layered" starting with component parts of bigger exercises so all individuals get the most out of their workout. You will stick with the variation you are comfortable with and a challenge is offered there for you if you want it. No pressure at all.
If you have chronic pain, are coming back from an injury or are pregnant, a one-on-one session would be best to assess your situation.
We do reserve the right for teachers to restrict clients to a particular class type for safety reasons if necessary & change your spring tension to something more suitable enabling you to execute the movement correctly.
